wow, cheers for these. I've never heard of this guy to be honest but he's clearly AWESOME! With more chops than my local butcher!! I quite like the sound of his kit too... PHATT!

Dave's one of my favorites and I would take him in a heartbeat over many other drummers frequently mentioned here. He's the best guy I've heard at Metric Modulations bar none. He plays Vinnie-ish licks and then Mod's them. Damn near unbelievable.

yeah, dave dicenso is a great great player. i've been studying with him on and off for almost 4 years now and he continues to wow me with his great ideas and phrases. he also plays probably the phatest grooves ever... deep! check out the hiromi uehara album with anothny jackson on bass.

I just checked out that record the other day. Very cool....I had never heard this guy before and I didn't recognize his name on the album credits. Nice stuff!
